Ingredients: Rice Flour, Green Chilli, Salt, Asafoetida
Spicy rice appalam made using an heirloom recipe. This is the perfect combination with rasam sadham or just as a snack by itself.
Frying Instructions
Heat 1 cup oil in a large kadai. Heat in medium temperature. Never smoky hot. Carefully drop 2 pieces of Thaligai Arisi Appalam and press down until they expand. Flip and pour hot oil over them until all the sides are fried evenly. Serve with Variety rice of your choice or Simply along with Tea or Coffee.
Microwave TIP: Can be microwaved for 1 minute in 900 W power setting. Turn the vadam over in 30 seconds for better and even cooking
