Our pappadam is made from the best urad dal and spices and is light and crispy. This can be eaten as a snack or as a side. It can be deep fried or heated in the microwave and tastes best when served with hot ghee rice.
Heat 1 cup oil (preferably coconut oil) in a large kadai. Heat in medium temperature. Never smoky hot. Carefully drop 1 piece of Thaligai Pappadam and press done until they puff up . Flip and pour hot oil over them until all the sides are fried evenly. Serve with Variety rice of your choice or Simply along with Tea or Coffee.
Microwave TIP: Spread coconut oil (or any other oil) on both sides of a pappadam. Microwaved on 900W. Flip over every 20 seconds for upto a minute until it is cooked evenly throughout.
