மோர் மிளகாய் வத்தல்
Ingredients: Green Chilli, Buttermilk, Salt, Asafoetida
Thaligai Mor Milagai is salty, spicy and crunchy making it a perfect accompaniment for curd rice or to add in mor kuzh.
In heavy bottom vessel heat 2 tbsp oil. Add 10-12 mor milagai and fry slowly in medium heat making sure that all sides are browning evenly.
Caution - spicy smoke might come when the oil is heated up, in which case cover the vessel with a lid and fry shaking the vessel regularly and turning over. When all sides are evenly browned, switch off the heat and keep aside. Serve with curd rice.
Once fried, store for up to a week in an airtight container.
Tip: Mor Milagai fried along with mustard can be used for tempering while making Mor Kuzh.
